Trauma Survivor Sculpts Journal in Clay to Document Healing
We invite you to check out a beautiful sculpture series, referred to as “a journal in clay” by its creator, trauma survivor Kim Marchesseault, documenting her inspiring healing journey out of the despair of PTSD. Here is her note and the link to her site:
Dear Belleruth,
I picked up your book, Invisible Heroes, in my doctor's waiting room. I was drawn in by the first page, borrowed it from him and read it cover to cover over the next couple of days. Then I bought three copies of it - one for me and two to share. Thank you for that.
I have a series of sculpture that is like a journal in clay of my experiences during therapy for PTSD. Please let me know if this can be of use, maybe to give hope to those suffering from PTSD. The sculptures are pictured here in order: http://kimiam.wordpress.com/2008/02/29/ptsd-healing-through-sculpture/
Thank you,
Kim Marchesseault [Actual name used with permission]
